Students Activists of Awami National Party staged a protest demonstration against the assassination of their leader and Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, vowed to continue fight against scourge of terrorism in the province. The protest was spearheaded by Pukhtun Students Federation Central Chairman, Bashir Sherpao.

The demonstrators were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the killing of ANP leader and workers in the suicide-attack in Peshawar. The participants paid rich tribute to slain ANP leader, Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour. Talking to reporters the federation central chairman Bashir Sherpao said that ANP workers were followers of the Bacha Khan' non-violence policy and they were not afraid of nefarious designs of militants.

"We will never surrender before anti-state elements and will continue war to uproot militancy in the province," he vowed. Sharpao further said that ANP has been deprived of a brave leader like Bashir Bilour, adding that his demise was a national loss. PSF provincial secretary Taj Muhammad Wazir and general secretary Riaz Khan Marwart also spoke on the occasion and offered more sacrifices for the safety of Pakhtun soil.
